About
Hi, I’m Dr. Katherine Hamblin, but you can call me Kat!
After graduating from Georgia State University with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy, I’ve gathered multi-dimensional experience in pediatrics, orthopedics, and pelvic floor therapy. My nomadic side called me to experience the joy of travel therapy and it was in deserts of Arizona that I learned about the subtle, but powerful tool of energy healing and became Reiki certified. I began my practice in pelvic floor physical therapy after deciding to return to the southeast. All people deserve more education and connection to their pelvic floors as this area of the body contains so many amazing and essential functions. Also, traditional medicine has neglected our emotions, histories, and overall connection to our sense of purpose and soul. I believe addressing these things is essential for true healing. My hope is that one day, this kind of care will be the mainstream. Outside of work, I love rock climbing, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
Mission
To provide trauma-informed pelvic floor physical therapy and energy healing so that all can experience more connection, strength, and empowerment as they move and care for their bodies throughout all phases of life.
